Pre-termination

Offer Chlamydia screen (national Programme) if available and request results also be forwarded to Wistons.

• Refer young person to GP/LES/Family Planning
• Ensure young person has time to think through decisions / is offered decision counselling
• Support young person throughout the process
• Seek agreement with young person to be contacted after procedure is completed

Post-termination

• Provide follow up support
• Provide appropriate ongoing support
